Russell Coglan - General Manager

The Cook

Russell has for many years had a passion for food, if he's not found eating it, he'll be found cooking it. He has, over the years, entertained many of his friends with one of his infamous 3 course meals. Always trying out something new for them to try each and every time.

Having taken a great deal longer than expected, Russell has now transferred his culinary skills to the kitchen, which sees The Retreat Bar & Grill busy on most days, especially Sunday's when you'll see people from far and wide to sample one of Russell's famous Sunday Roasts with all the trimmings.

Pop in and try a dish or two, you'll find it's just like what mama used to make!

Aled - Assistant Manager

Besides pottering around year in and year out organising the Cabaret Tent for Bristol Pride, Aled can also be seen managing the bar at The Retreat Bar & Grill. Creating a positive attitude throughout his team of merry bar men and women, whilst co-ordinating the Cabaret itinarary for the venue.
